Understanding Utility Score
The Utility Score is a numerical value assigned to each coach in the game, ranging between 5 and 100, is a key metric in the game, assigned to each coach to quantify their effectiveness and role within the game.
This score is crucial as it directly influences a coach's utility or value in gameplay. A higher Utility Score denotes a more advantageous coach, equipped with a broader range of unlocked parameters and abilities. These enhancements include a greater number of boosters available for use, the ability to manage teams in various country leagues, type of sports capable to manage, increased entries in competitions, and a higher cap for skill points evolution. Thus, the Utility Score is an essential factor in determining a coach's potential impact and strategic use in the game.
Factors Influencing Utility Score
Several elements contribute to the calculation of a coach's Utility Score. These include:
🟣 Edition Type: Refers to the specific edition of the coach (Starlight, Solar Flare, Cosmic Nova, Fire Pulsar, Nebula Glow). The edition of the NFT card determines 2 important game aspects:
1. The Game modes that your coach can participate in;
2. The maximum Level directly linked to the maximum global skill points that determine the potential evolution of the coach.
👕 Outfit Type: Determines the leagues he can pick players from to build his teams (country, zone or world).
⚽️ Sport Type: The sport sticker determines the sports covered by the coach.
👓 Glasses Type: Determine the number of items that can be added to the Coach (skill booster cards, upgrade coach items...)
🧢 Hat Type: Determine the number of simultaneous entries in the available competitions for a coach.
Each of these items carries a certain value, collectively defining the coach's overall Utility Score.
Link Between Utility Score and Rarity
An interesting aspect of the Utility Score is its direct correlation with the rarity of the coach. In simpler terms, a higher Utility Score usually indicates a rarer coach. This rarity also affects the likelihood of acquiring the coach during primary sales or in competitions; the higher the Utility Score, the less frequent the coach's appearance or "drop."
Pricing and Market Dynamics
The Utility Score plays an important role in determining the initial selling price of a coach in the primary market. Coaches with higher Utility Scores are generally more expensive due to their enhanced utility and rarity.
It's important to note, however, that the price of a coach can fluctuate in the secondary market. This variation is influenced by factors such as the coach's level and the unique abilities developed by the manager. As these attributes evolve, they can create a unique and more valuable coach, potentially leading to an increase in market value.
